Thief Slurry Sampler
Thief slurry samplers are designed for the representative sampling of slurries in tanks. In concept it is a jar that opens up to grab a sample at the depth it is inserted to. This sampler is designed to be lowered down into a tank and it’s length is preconfigured to sample at your chosen depth in the tank.
Our thief sampler is modular and made from stainless steel. Extension pieces may be used to extend the sampler to greater depths – but to extend the sampler the internal stainless steel rope also needs to be extended. This can be tedious so we suggest one sampler per sampling depth.
The table below lists the various pre-assemblies that we offer – individual components are also available so that you can modify your unit if your sampling depths need to be changed.
We recommend configuring this no longer than 6.5m.
