Slurry Sampler – Falling Stream Type

Th Falling Stream slurry sampler is designed for the manual sampling of a falling stream of slurry. In this model the sample is funneled into – and contained in – a removable plastic jar. 

 

 

The plastic jar size can be changed. A variant of this – a moon sampler – that has no removable plastic jar (but a compartment instead) – is detailed on another page.

 

You can use various handles to suit your sampling point’s location. The handles are common to the other samplers below (except the thief sampler) and are sold separately.

 

Alternatively, a moified version of the stream sampler is available for larger samples where the sample is diverted to a bucket at your feet – eliminating the need for the technician to manually support the entire weight of the sample.  This arrangement is, however, not suited to most sampling points.
