Wet Screening, Wet Washing or De-Sliming Products

 

MARC manufactures wet sieving/screening and wet washing/de-sliming equipment typically associated with wet particle sizing tasks. Our wet sieving product range extends from simple single-sieve pneumatic sieve shaker/vibrator straps to full sieve shakers.

 

For wet applications using 200 and 300mm sieves we suggest using the pneumatic sieve vibrators with wet washing sieves (100mm and 150mm deep, mesh to top lip, respectively), which is significantly higher than the usual height. This allows for a slight water column to facilitate the test. Pneumatic sieve vibrators straps remove the risks typically associated with the use of electrical shakers & vibrators around water.

2. Electric Single Sieve Vibrators for 200mm and 300mm Sieves

  • New design now includes stabiliser feet. 
  • This unit is designed to sit over a sink.
  • Sieves are clamped down – reducing sieve rattling and vibrational energy loss.
  • Both 200 and 300mm sieves can be run on one machine if both platforms are purchased.
  • The vibration frequency is adjustable.

 

Only one sieve at a time can be used on this model – but the next product below has been beefed up with a heavier-duty drive system with the ability to clamp up to 3 sieves on top of each other – see the Stackable Sieve Vibrator section below for options. The vibrator on the unit above is not sized for large 450mm sieves with sample & water.

4. Basic/Cost Effective Pneumatic Single Sieve Vibrator Straps for 200, 300 and 450mm Sieves

  • A stainless steel vibrating strap that wraps around a standard 200, 300 or 450mm sieve that operates with compressed air only.
  • Safe for use in wet areas.
  • Uses a “silent” pneumatic vibrator.
  • These are designed to be cost effective enough for multiple units to be used simultaneously.

5. Basic/Cost Effective Stainless Steel Bucket Adapter for 200mm and 300 mm Sieves

6. Stainless Steel Bench Mounted Base Unit for Pneumatic Wet Sieving 

 

We have a sturdy 300mm base unit for the mounting of sieve adaptor platforms for sieves up to 300mm. A 200mm or 300mm sieve adaptor platform is placed on top of the base unit. Vibration is via the sieve basic vibrator straps above – a separately purchased product. 

 

 

We also have an option of a vibrating sieve platform for either 200 or 300mm sieves where no vibrator strap is need as the vibrator is mounted onto the platform. 

 

 

We then have a separate 450mm base unit for the larger 450mm sieves. A 450mm sieve adaptor platform is required for that if using the vibrator straps, and a 450mm vibrating sieve platform is also available for that larger base unit.

7. Test Sieve Grade ISO 3310-1 Woven Wire Mesh Sweco or Kason Separator Replacement Decks

 

  • Most decks used on this class of equipment use industrial wire screen grade mesh (ISO 4783-1) and not test sieve grade (ISO 3310-1). This means that laboratory sizing results derived from a Sweco or Kason (or other) would not pass a quality audit. 
  • Sweco or Kason Vibratory Screeners can, however, be fitted with Test Sieve Grade Mesh to convert these to useful shakers for larger samples.
