Sound Absorbing Cupboards and Stands for Sieve Shakers incl. RoTaps

 

We manufacture a range of tough and durable sound enclosures (sound absorbing cupboards) for small and large sieve shakers as well as RoTaps/Ro-Taps.  We also manufacture RoTap stands, and workstations for use with sieve shakers.

 

MARC Sound Absorbing Enclosure for RX-29 RoTap:

We desiged our own version of the RoTap RX-29 sound absorbing enclosure to improve sound absorption and remove pinch points.  It’s made from lightweight aluminium so you can just just slip it over your RoTap. Our testing has shown a nominal 20 dB reduction in noise. When you considering the OEM enclosure offers a claimed 7 dB reduction, we have a three-fold improvement in noise absorption. 

 

 

MARC Sound Enclosures for NEXOPART EML 200, 315 and 450 Sieve Shaker Range:

The sound enclosures are made from durable epoxy coated mild steel and are lined internally with acoustic foam for effective noise reduction. Please be aware that the EML 315 and EML 450 enclosures contain stands that are matched to the feet on these specific shakers and so they may not be suited to other brands. 

All our enclosures include an externally mounted support bracket for sieve shakers with separate controllers. 

 

 

 

Three sizes are available. The EML 315 and EML 450 sizes are available with the door hinge optionally on the left or right to allow for easy access to a workstation.

Additionally we also have extracted workstations where the process of handling samples and weighing sieves is made easier.   If you’re working with an electromagnetic shaker you may not need a sound enclosure as they are relatively quiet, especially if you use sieves with rubber seals.  As you would expect though –  RoTaps are an exception.
