Rapid Handling Pressure Filters for High Sample Numbers – Quick & Easy

MARC designs and manufactures the robust RAPID laboratory pressure filter range where technicians can reduce manual handling around the tightening and loosening of the upper and lower lid when dewatering slurry samples. We also offer pressure filter cloth and pressure filter-compatible filter papers in cost effective 1000-sheet packs. 

In the RAPID filter the manual handling actions are limited to a few low-force movements of the arm and as a result manual handling is dramatically reduced to a new level that leaves users of the RAPID filter hesitant to return to the “old-style” tightening systems. 

We have made our best attempts to design out significant maintenance requirements and maximize reliability but this unit has more moving parts and so inevitably has higher capital and maintenance costs.   The RAPID pressure filter range is limited to a filtration pressure of 5 bar which has been perfectly acceptable for 9.9 out of 10 sample types (Bauxite sample processors should try our Bench Mounted High Temperature option).

  • Removable filter cake support is supplied as standard 
  • Filter media clamping force is easily adjustable in seconds.

 

The optional stands are constructed from stainless steel and contain forklift pockets for lifting. 

 

Please also note MARC’s Rapid Handling pressure filters are designed to be operated at 500 kPa and are designed for Non-Lethal Slurries. This product covers gold/sodium cyanide applications.
