Haver Automatic Photo-Optical Particle Size Analysers

Haver & Boecker manufacture a range of photo-optical particle size analysers for the particle size and shape determination of dry non-agglomerating samples.  

There are 3 product categories:

  1. CPA 2 for finer materials;
  2. CPA 4  & 5 for bulkier coarse materials. 

The CPA 4 is well suited – in the mining industry – to the particle size measurement of free-falling non-agglomerating bulky samples.

 

 

Haver CPA 4-1 for Coarse Dry Materials in the 0.063 – 50 mm Range

 

 

The HAVER CPA 4-1 is suitable for particle size and shape analysis of coarse material up to 50 mm. With its robust construction it is designed to handle large sample quantities. The user-friendly software of this device for laboratory and pilot plant works under current Windows operating systems.

Haver CPA 4 GRAVIOPT for Coarse Dry Materials in the 0 – 50 mm Range

The Haver CPA 4 GRAVIOPT combines the advantages of Photo-Optical Particle Size Analysis and gravimetric measurement. The material to be analysed is conveyed by a Haver EMZ vibratory feeder and classified by a Haver DMS vibratory screener. The sieve underflow is weighed by a load cell and the overflow is analysed photo-optically and then discharged to a second load-cell for weighing.
