Recirculating Fume Cupboards for School Applications
Designed for school applications and for demonstration purposes these fume cabinets comply with AS2243.8-1992. They are designed for applications and operations presently carried out on a laboratory bench, but better handled in an enclosed cabinet. There is no alternative to a correctly installed fume cupboard which complies with Australian Standards, to provide safe working conditions for operators and other laboratory personnel when working with chemicals which are hazardous or noxious.
Description
The Dynaflow School Fume Cupboard complies with Australian Standard AS2243-8, 1992 and provides safe working conditions for operators. It is ideally suited to school and demonstration use.
The work surface is surrounded by Armour Plate glass sides and PVC back or it can be fitted with an armour plate glass back for demonstration purposes. At the front it has a counter balanced sliding sash which is also glazed with 6mm Armour Plate glass.
A completely sealed fluorescent light is mounted in a purpose made moulded cover on the exterior of the chamber. A transparent armour plate glass panel allows the interior of the chamber to be fully illuminated.
The chamber of the fume cupboard can be fitted with a specially designed back baffle containing no exposed fixing bolts.
The Dynasafe Control System is incorporated into the facia at a convenient height above the sash. This electronic flush mounted control panel complies with the latest Australian Standards AS2243-8, 1992 and AS2430-3, 1991.

Sash System, the following minimum air quantities are required based on
a face velocity of 0.5 m/s.

Other Options
A sink or drip cup can be fitted together with a remote controlled water swanneck and remote controlled gas, vacuum, etc.
Power outlets can also be provided on the fume cupboard facia.
